System features

The State and University Library search facility has a number of features.

  • The availability of State and University Library material is shown right at the beginning of the search results.
  • The search results are sorted according to relevance, but can be sorted according to title or year of publication, if you so require.
  • If available, information from external sources is shown, such as front pages or tables of contents.
  • If you make a spelling mistake, the system shows spelling suggestions along the lines of Google’s “Did you mean …?”.
  • The search result is narrowed down via links to the left of the search result, for example by limiting the searches to a specific author or topic. The suggestions for a narrowing of your search result are generated on the basis of your search.
  • Easy ordering – place the items in the basket and order everything at once. You can keep titles on the checklist for later use.
  • You can send references straight from the checklist to RefWorks, EndNote and e-mail addresses.
